Hair Loss in Women and Men: Common Problem

Hair loss is the common problem in both men and women. The main reason and the culprit for hair loss among the population and the genetic reason could be due to hormone dihydrotestosterone or DHT. Testosterone produces dihydrotestosterone hormone.
The reaction takes place in the presence of the enzyme 5α-reductase which helps to convert testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. This enzyme is a part of steroid metabolism. However, the hormone DHT creates havoc and results in hair loss in women and men. This is explained by the mechanism as the DHT hormone connects with the receptors of androgen that are present in the hair follicles (at the base). This connection leads to the shrinkage of hair follicles resulting in the hair thinning leading to hair loss. This the major reasons for hair loss. The other reasons could be higher exposure to the air pollution, diet, and not taking proper care of the hairs. Click here to know more about #Hair regrowth shampoo.
