What does the dry skin (trockene haut) tell about body functionality?

Most of the people neglect this condition thinking that it is normal to have dry skin, especially in winter. But dry skin is a physiological condition. It is an indication that the metabolism of the body is not in its proper working condition. It is a way through which the body tells the person that proper care is needed.
To check if one’s skin is dry 
The skin of each and every single member of human-species is made up of collagen. Then why does the texture of some people’s skin gives smooth and silky touch while the others rough and coarse? The answer lies in the hydration. The dry skin (trockene haut) prevails when the fibers constituting skin are not well hydrated. If the situation is left unchecked and skin keeps on losing moisture then it results in flaky appearance. Such a person needs immediate help.

•    The skin becomes vulnerable to infections as the skin fails to perform its protective role as well.

Smooth and silky skin is the dream of every girl and with a bit of care, a person can realize this dream. By working a bit on the lifestyle and changing food habits can do wonders. In order to get healthy skin one must follow the following steps:
•    Drink plenty of water about 3.7 liters per day
•    Diet rich with fruits and vegetables
•    Fish meal once a week
•    Meat and eggs for protein
•    Supplements for Iron especially for females
