Myanmar, in search of the palace of Sakandar

Wiston sold pirated copies of English novels on Burma: Orwell's Burmese Days , The Bridge Over the River Kwai, or The Letters of Burma by Aung Saan Su Kyi, the Nobel Peace Prize. Among that mountain of books, Winston recommended one in particular, Twilight over Burma , which he had read and liked.
It is the story of Inge Sargent, an Austrian woman who fell in love with the King of Shan State, while they were studying mining engineering in the United States. Sao Kya Seng, at that moment prince of Hsipaw, concealed his condition of prince and invited Inge to its country.
