WHAT IS A KETOGENIC DIET?

The ketogenic diet is actually based on the concept of high fats and low carbohydrates and is similar in many ways to low-carb and Atkins diets. Thus, it focuses on significantly reducing the intake of carbs, which is replaced by consuming fats. So, the diet is also known as low carb high fat (LCHF).
