The return of Coco Boer sweets

The old Coco Boer sweets are back!
Like many vintage products, old candies return to the front of the stage.

A true star candy from the 1960s / 1970s, Coco Boer is now making its comeback . The Coco Boer is one of the old sweets but also one of the best known sweets with the no less famous Mistral Winner.

To the chagrin of gourmands, its production was stopped at the end of the 1970s. But it is again commercialized recently.

You do not know Coco Boer? So a little history of sweets. Coco Boer is a liquorice confectionery . It comes in the form of a small box. In this box there is powder to which water is added for the preparation of a sweet drink.

It is a "local" candy since it was created in 1902 in Pouzin in Ardèche. It is Jules Courtier, a pharmacist domiciled in Pouzin who created it.
