How to diagnose IBS by ruling out the symptoms presented.

Although there are many diseases of the digestive system, some of them are curable and can be treated with either drugs or surgical operations. However, there are few ones that their cause has not been discovered, therefore the treatment and cure remain almost impossible and people have to learn to manage the condition by keeping to good hygiene and proper diet. The irritable bowel syndrome is a condition that causes discomfort and pain to someone when food is taken. Otherwise known as IBS, this condition is associated with frequent use of the restroom, discomfort in the stomach area, abdominal pain and it can also lead to other conditions such as halitosis, headache, joint pain, etc.

Animal products such as red meat, high-fat dairy products, fried foods, etc. are triggers of bloating and constipation for someone who has been diagnosed with IBS. Other forms of diet which influence the bowels negatively include foods such as beans, celery, onions, carrots, raisins, bananas, apricot have been discovered to cause flatulence, dairy products, sugar-free gum and candies, products with caffeine contents. These food sources must be avoided in order to manage the disease condition. Furthermore, the Lifestyle of the patient also contribute to the conditions, a healthy Lifestyle such as engaging in physical exercise, meditation and stress counseling is highly imperative for the management of IBS.
