10 Fun Travel Destinations

Travelling is one of the most fun and rewarding experiences anyone can have. It also allows for creative, quirky ways to have fun. What better way to do these things than by taking advice from people who have done it before?

Cango Caves, South Africa
The Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, South Africa, are not only some of the most revered caves in the country but also internationally. This is the perfect way to embrace your adventurous spirit. The guided tours through the cave are both informative and fun, offering tourists the opportunity to slide down natural rock slides, shout into cavities and learn about its history.

The Alps Mountains Range
Whether it’s on the Italian, Swiss, French or any other country’s section of the Alps mountain range, they’re a fun holiday destination all year round. In the Winter, it becomes a snowy sanctuary for snow sports and in the Summer, it becomes a scenic, green haven of mountain biking, hiking and lake sports.

Tampa, Florida
The most obvious place to go in Tampa is Disney Land. However, while this is an obvious beacon of fun, there are so many fun things to do in Tampa. It’s renowned for its thriving metropolitan, its golden beaches, its golf and its fishing.

White Water Rafting, Bali
Lots of people, at some stage in their lives, might have tried their hand at white water rafting. The major difference is that it’s often done in man-made waves. However, in Bali, you have the opportunity to do it in the wild, down the Telaga Waja River and Ayung River. This a great way to absorb the landscape of the country, whilst still feeling like you’re on a real-life rollercoaster.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Wales
The Pembrokeshire Coast is the only National Park in the UK to be named as such as a result of its expansive coastline. Though it weaves around multiple beautiful, quaint Welsh villages, it’s a National Park because of the coastal path itself which is 186 miles (299 km) long. You can walk the entire thing, if you wanted, stopping at each town to stay.

Boating, Greece
From the beaches of most islands in Greece, you can go on regular boat trips, where they give you a snorkel and take you to shipwrecks, secret caves and private beaches. A great way to see lots of fish and bask in the sunlight.

Borneo, Malaysia
If you’re into wildlife, this green rainforest in Southeast Asia is one of the best places to visit. Guided tours of the rainforests offer you front row seats to orangutans in their natural habitat, swinging through the trees probably having almost as much fun as you have watching them!

Lake Como, Italy
If the views and the shimmery Lake Como don’t blow your mind, then the sheer number of fun things to do in it will. Whether you fancy a swim, a canoe, a boat ride, or general watersports, there’s something for everyone!

Sydney, Australia
Sydney is often mistaken as Australia’s capital city because of how much is happening there. You might want to call it the cultural capital. There’s the Sydney Opera House for those looking for some artsy fun, or there’s Bondi Beach for those wanting to surf the famous golden beach waves.

Whistler, Canada
North of Vancouver, Whistler is a hub of activity. In the Winter, the town transforms into a wonderland of snow, skiing and hot chocolate. In the Summer, there are endless mountainous activities, lakes and walks to be explored as well as exquisite scenery to be viewed and enjoyed.
