48 oz – Container with smaller capacity. About 17.4inch long when on mixer. Suitable for all Vitamix C series and G-series blenders.
64oz “Classic” Tall – Standard container with narrow base only used in the C-series blender. Measures 20.4 inches high, so does not fit under a typical countertop.
64 oz “Low Profile” Next Generation – Newest container with wider base of 4 inch and 17,4 inch high on blender base to fit under cabinets. Made with only work with G-series blenders and the new C-series blenders that have the new 2.2hp engine (Vitamix 5300 and 6500)
Dry container:
32oz – specially made for grinding. Suitable for all models from the C-series and the G-series.
The containers are all interchangeable between the blenders of the C-series and the G-series, with the exception of the 64oz-containers. This means that the 64oz “Classic” high containers can only be used on the C-series blender and that the Low-profile (64oz wide container with wide bottom) can only be used in the blenders of the G-series and the Cseries 5300 and 6500.
