Nanny's salary in UAE

UAE's local law does not stipulate a minimum wage for a nanny, meaning that nanny's wages are not protected by local law. However, at the time of signing contract, a minimum wage was set for the nanny by the consulates from all countries. Therefore, nanny from different countries may has different wages. According to nanny's work experience, qualifications, job skills and scope of work, the monthly salary of nanny are also very different. The level of salary depends largely on your negotiating skills. Filipino nanny at UAE minimum wage is Dh.1,400, while Indonesian nanny’s minimum wage is Dh.800, Bangladeshi maid’s minimum wage is Dh.750, Indian maid’s minimum wage is Dh.1, 100, Sri Lanka maid’s minimum wage is Dh.825.
